Daily Fantasy Golf DraftKings Picks (PGA DFS): Honda Classic

Top daily fantasy golf (PGA DFS) lineup picks for DraftKings and the Honda Classic. Fantasy PGA expert advice & DraftKings DFS lineup sleepers.

Welcome back RotoBallers. In this column, I will be providing you with my Honda Classic PGA DFS lineup picks for DraftKings. My goal as always is to help put together your optimal daily fantasy golf lineups.

Dustin Johnson blew away the field, winning The Genesis Open at 17-under by five strokes over Thomas Pieters and Scott Brown. Justin Rose finished tied for fourth. Johnson dominated the course, and with the win becomes the new world number one. As usual he drove the ball perfectly, but it was his putting that looked terrific. If Johnson can get his putting under control before major season kicks off, then look out. For years, putting has been the weakest point of Johnson’s game, but it finally looks like he has a complete game.

Editor's Note: Interested in RotoBaller's PGA DFS Cheat Sheet with expert picks, DFS prices, vegas odds, official world golf rankings, course history, past results and more advanced stats by PGA DFS Experts Seth Finkelstein and Chris Durell? Let us know here.

Honda Classic

The PGA Tour west coast swing ended last week at the Genesis Open. Now begins the Sunshine State tour, with tournaments being played in Palm Beach Gardens, this week, Palm Harbor, and Orlando. Next week is the World Golf Championships which used to be played at Trump National Doral Miami, but the PGA Tour pulled the tournament and moved it to Mexico City. We'll still call it the Sunshine State swing.

Last year, Adam Scott defeated Sergio Garcia by one stroke to win the Honda Classic. Rickie Fowler was also in the mix last year. All three mentioned above will be competing again. It doesn't matter who else is playing, because these three can put on a dramatic show.

Fantasy Golf Lineup Picks for DraftKings (PGA DFS)

Build a lineup with one of following:

Adam Scott ($12,200), Rickie Fowler ($11,900), or Sergio Garcia ($10,900). I'm gonna go with Fowler. His last outing was at the Phoenix Open where he finished T4. Garcia finished T11 and Scott T11 at the Genesis Open last week. All three will finish in the Top 15.

Also, look out for Justin Thomas, ($11,800). He finished T3 last year.

Middle Cost Players - Honda Classic PGA DFS Picks

Tyrrell Hatton ($8,500)

You may be saying, who? But Hatton is the real deal. He's looked great on the European Tour this year, T13 at Abu Dhabi, and T3 in Dubai, that same tournament Tiger Woods left early.

Rafael Cabrera- Bello ($8,000)

He's a must know name these days. In the four tournaments on the European Tour Rafa has played in this year, he's yet to finish outside the top 35. In order, he's finished T19, T6, T11, and T34.

Thomas Pieters ($7,700)

The 25-year-old Belgian played terrific last week, finishing runner-up to Dustin Johnson at the Geneis Open. I think he carries over his strong play from last week.

Ollie Schniederjans ($7,600)

I have picked Schniderjans so many times in this column, and yet, I still can't spell his last name. Anyways, he's had a great past three weeks, finishing T9 at the Farmers Insurance, T24 in Phoenix, and T8 at the Genesis Open.

There are a solid amount other- mid priced players, as well.

Low Cost Players - Honda Classic PGA DFS Picks

Graeme McDowell ($7,300)

He finished 67th at Riviera, but I'll take him this week playing in a tournament he finished 5th last year.

Jonathan Vegas ($7,100)

His price is so low for how he's played in the past four tournaments, T30, T34, T28, and T15 at the Genesis Open. I have no idea how his price is this cheap, but I will be all over Vegas.

Mackenzie Hughes ($6,800)

There's no player worth choosing below the $7,000 line, so if you're reading this, try and reconfigure your lineup. If you don't want to or are lazy too, then take a flier on Hughes. He was cut last week, but did finish T10 two weeks ago at Pebble Beach.
