ANALYSIS: Wide receiver Cameron Meredith had a really nice day this past Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. His stat-line was nine catches for 130 yards and one touchdown on a team-leading 12 targets. At 6'3", 200 pounds, Meredith has that wide receiver body that bodes well in the NFL.
While Meredith had a good game this past weekend, it's really hard to justify it being a consistent occurrence has the weeks role on. It seems like each week the Bears have a new leading receiver. Last week it was Eddie Royal, this week it is Meredith, and next week it will most likely be Alshon Jeffery because he is well overdue. Meredith could become a good fantasy football stud in time, but don't expect consistent production out of him just yet. If you have an extra roster spot in a very deep league, it might not be the worst idea to pick him up and see how he performs. However, keep him on your bench until he proves to be more consistent.
