ANALYSIS: Welcome back to the fantasy football world Dennis Pitta. We are finally getting to see the talent we have all been waiting for. Before this season began, Pitta hadn't played in an NFL game since September 21, 2014 where he fractured and dislocated his hip for the second time in as many years. After a pedestrian first game of the year, Pitta showed up big-time in Week 2 with a nine catch and 102 yard effort on 12 targets. Quarterback Joe Flacco found him all over the field against the Cleveland Browns as he was an integral part in helping a comeback victory.
Adding him is a must if you are in need of help, but please do so with caution because Pitta has an extensively long injury history. However, if he can steer clear of the injury bug, he has the ability to become one of the top tight ends in fantasy football.
