BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 31% of Fleaflicker Leagues
EXPERT ANALYSIS: After weeks of anticipation, the inevitable happened and Alex Bregman hit his way into the majors. He was finally recalled Sunday and immediately becomes an intriguing add for mixed leagues. Bregman was already rated near the top of every prospect list before collecting three hits in the 2016 Futures Game a couple weeks ago. After dominating Double-A pitching, he was moved to Triple-A and promptly hit .333 with six HR and 15 RBI in just 18 games. The only question is where he will fit in, with the middle of the infield occupied by star players. Bregman has been seeing the field at third base in order to get his bat into the lineup without disturbing phenom Carlos Correa at shortstop. Luis Valbuena has been hitting well, but could play at first base with A.J. Reed's demotion. Bregman could also see time in left field, which would only add to his value by giving him more position eligibility. Regardless, look for Bregman to be eased into action initially. If he produces the way he has all season, he could help fantasy owners across most categories other than speed throughout the second half.
