BALLER MOVE: Bench Stash in 14+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 2% of Fleaflicker Leagues
ANALYSIS: One of the more anticipated June call-ups finally happened on Friday. Peter O'Brien is the proud owner of the hardest hit home run in the Statcast era, with a 119 MPH exit velocity shot in Spring Training this season that carried 461 feet. He appears to be the second coming of Mark Trumbo - a massive power hitter who is a threat every time he steps to the plate. O'Brien is slashing .330/.356/.670 with 17 HR and 52 RBI in Triple-A this season. Now he will get a chance to hit in Chase Field, the most-hitter friendly park after Coors Field. O'Brien, a 6'4", 235 lb right-handed hitter will be looking to deposit balls over its 330-foot left field fence on a regular basis. O'Brien was the D-backs Minor League Player of the Year in 2015, but has only 11 MLB at-bats entering Friday's contest and is still somewhat raw. Like most pure sluggers, he has some holes in his swing as evidenced by 61 strikeouts in 212 AB this season, and 161 K in 591 AB last season. He isn't an all-or-nothing guy though, as he has maintained a respectable .272 batting average over the last five seasons across all levels. If you're looking for a prospect to stash and missed out on Jurickson Profar or Trea Turner, be the first in your league to take a chance on O'Brien and his power potential.
