NBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks - FanDuel Basketball Advice for 4/24/16

By Keith Allison from Hanover, MD, USA (LeBron James) [CC BY-SA 2.0 (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0)], via Wikimedia Commons

Demetri Raftopoulos highlights the top NBA DFS lineup picks for 4/24/16, as well as a couple of sleepers to keep in mind while building your roster on FanDuel.

Two teams look to sweep and close out their respective series on Sunday. The other two series' sit at 2-1 after a surprising victory by the Houston Rockets over the Curry-less Warriors on Friday.

On a night with only four games, it's wise to spend up at a couple positions, and then fill the rest with value plays. Prices have dropped for most players as the postseason is in full swing, making it easier to find affordable guys that still play over 30 minutes consistently.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy NBA lineup picks for FanDuel on 4/24/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays on FanDuel.

FanDuel DFS Point Guards

Stephen Curry (at HOU, $10,900)

Stephen Curry is expected to play on Sunday. The Houston Rockets stole a victory in game three so we can expect the Golden State Warriors and the recently rested Curry to come out firing. In only 20 minutes of play during game one, Curry posted over 40 fantasy points. It's dangerous to think what he's capable of in over 30 minutes of court time against a Rockets defense that has struggled defending point guards all season.

Isaiah Thomas (vs ATL, $8,300)

It's definitely wise to spend up at point guard on Sunday, especially with the way Thomas played in game three. With Avery Bradley out of the lineup, Thomas stepped up and dropped 42 points, consisting of five three's on 12 attempts. Look for Thomas to play well over 30 minutes in game four and again step up to try and even the series for the Boston Celtics.

FanDuel DFS Shooting Guards

Evan Turner (vs ATL, $5,600)

Turner also produced well in the absence of Bradley. Playing over 30 minutes in the third straight game of the series, Turner scored 17 points, dished out seven assists, and posted an impressive five steals. He also picked up a block and two rebounds. Turner should again see a bulk of minutes, and is an affordable option at the two spot.

Kyle Korver (at BOS, $3,900)

Korver is a much cheaper option at the two guard position, and has scored 17 points in two straight games. His minutes have steadily remained around 30 in all games of Atlanta's first round series with Boston, and should be the same on Sunday. He could find some more openings with Bradley out, but is a threat from downtown regardless. Korver dropped 10 threes on 16 attempts in the past two games.

FanDuel DFS Small Forwards

LeBron James (at DET, $10,300)

LeBron appears locked in for the second straight postseason. He's play 40 or more minutes in all three wins versus the Detroit Pistons, and has scored 20 or more in each of them. The King was three assists shy of a triple-double in his last game, and has posted two double-doubles in the series so far. Look for LeBron and the Cleveland Cavaliers to finish business and sweep the Pistons. LeBron is expensive but certainly worth it, especially during this time of year.

Kent Bazemore (at BOS, $5,600)

Bazemore's minutes have also remained steady, playing around 3o minutes a night, and has produced efficiently for his price. He's scored 20 or more points in two of three games of the series, and is an affordable option to free up cap space for the bigger names on this list.

FanDuel DFS Power Forwards

Jonas Jerebko (vs ATL, $4,000)

Jerebko is another value play on Sunday, and is coming off an impressive performance in Boston's last game. Jerbko posted a double-double, scoring 11 points and grabbing 12 boards in 37 minutes. He also picked up four assists and one block. Look for Jerebko to see another boost in minutes and be a factor in game four.

Zach Randolph (vs SA, $6,800)

Randolph will do all he can to avoid a sweep at the hands of the San Antonio Spurs. He's had a fairly productive series, posting a double-double in back-to-back games, and should see a ton of court time again on Sunday.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Al Horford (at BOS, $7,900)

Horford is the top center option on the slate Sunday, and should take advantage of Boston's struggles guarding the five spot. He's had a very productive series for Daily Fantasy, posting one double-double and flirting with another. He's also posted 11 blocks in three games, and has spread the rest of the stats generously. Horford even dropped a couple from behind the arc, four on nine attempts. He's fairly expensive, but with all the other value options on this list, you'll be able to afford him alongside Curry and LeBron.
