BALLER MOVE: Bench Stash in 14+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 1% of Fleaflicker leagues
ANALYSIS: Rookie outfielder Jabari Blash recorded his first career Major League hit on Saturday as a pinch-hitter, a double into the left field gap. Early in the season, Blash will be almost exclusively used to pinch-hit and will receive sporadic starts here and there. Melvin Upton Jr. is currently holding down left field and is off to a good start, but Blash certainly has more upside at this point. He has tremendous power which he displayed between Double-A and Triple-A last season with 32 HR combined and a .946 OPS. Right now Blash is not worth starting, but if he gets the opportunity to receive regular playing time, having him on your bench could pay dividends. Fantasy owners in deep mixed leagues or NL-only leagues should take notice.
