Demetri Raftopoulos highlights the top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for 2/29/16. These are the top value and sleeper plays for your DraftKings NBA DFS lineups.

Well into the second half of the season, it's still difficult not to pick on the Sacramento Kings, the Houston Rockets, and the Philadelphia 76ers. My favorite game to stack tonight is the Oklahoma City Thunder versus the Sacramento Kings.

With that being said, below you can check out my daily fantasy NBA lineup picks for DraftKings DFS slates on 2/29/16.

DraftKings DFS Point Guards

Russell Westbrook (at SAC, $11,100)

Recently against the Sacramento Kings, Chris Paul went off for 40 points, 13 assists, eight rebounds, and two steals. The Kings have been vulnerable defending the one spot all season and who better to insert in this spot (besides Stephen Curry) than Russell Westbrook.

Yes, Westbrook is expensive, but he's worth every penny. The Energizer Bunny out of Oklahoma City, like the aforementioned Curry, flirts with a triple-double each time he touches the court, and simply does everything. The Kings play little to no defense so expect this contest to be high scoring and quick. A stack here, for both teams, would be wise.

Donald Sloan (at LAC, $5,000)

Sloan is a very affordable option at the point and can free up plenty of cap space for Westbrook and some of the others listed below. He tallies just enough stats in the assist and rebound categories to compliment his knack for scoring in double-digits. He has posted 10 or more points in three straight games and four of his last five.

The Brooklyn Nets visit the Los Angeles Clippers and Sloan will be tested in a showdown with Chris Paul. I wouldn't be surprised if the Nets hung around a bit in this game but they will likely be playing from behind.

DraftKings DFS Shooting Guards

Vince Carter (at DEN, $3,900)

I'm not too big a fan of spending up at the shooting guard position, except for someone like James Harden, mainly because two-guards don't really spread the love to anywhere but the points category.

Carter continues to push and push, and at 39 years old is putting together pretty solid performances for Daily Fantasy. He recently drained five from downtown on seven attempts against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Denver Nuggets own the fifth highest opponent three point percentage in the league. Carter should see around 20 minutes of the court and should find plenty of openings to pull the trigger from behind the arc.

Wayne Ellington (at LAC, $4,000)

Ellington, like Carter and Sloan, frees up a lot of cap space. Bojan Bogdanovic is also a solid play here as both him and Ellington should see a decent amount of time against the Clippers. Ellington is coming off an impressive 16 points, six rebounds, two assists, and two steals performance against the Utah Jazz, where he shot 12 times in 36 minutes. We can expect Ellington to attempt around the same amount of shots tonight.

DraftKings DFS Small Forwards

Kevin Durant (at SAC, $10,400) 

If salary cap willing, stack Kevin Durant with Westbrook tonight. Everyone already knows about Sacramento's defensive woes and we can expect Durant to also take advantage of them. Before fouling out against the Golden State Warriors Saturday night, Durant dropped 37 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, two blocks, and one steal in 39 minutes, and is also another generous stat-spreader.

Durant is coming off two straight double-doubles, and should have no problem filling the stat sheet against the Kings.

DraftKings DFS Power Forwards

Jabari Parker (vs HOU, $6,400)

Parker has slowly come into his own in his sophomore season and is another guy that can do just enough for his price. Parker has scored double-digits in seven straight contests, while posting a double-double in two over that span.

Parker heads into a solid matchup versus the Houston Rockets who have relinquished the fourth most points per game in the league.

Markieff Morris (vs PHI, $5,200)

Morris is slowly adjusting to his new role on the Washington Wizards but has recently strung together a couple of nice Daily Fantasy performances. His minutes have teetered around 20 a night since the trade from Phoenix.

The Wizards face the 76ers again on Monday. Friday against Philadelphia, Morris dropped 10 points, grabbed seven boards and posted two blocks and a steal.

DraftKings DFS Centers

DeAndre Jordan (vs BK, $7,900)

Jordan is one of the top options at the center position Monday and has one of the top matchups as well. The Nets haven't defended the five spot all too well this season and Jordan has made the most of his time as top big guy on the floor with Blake Griffin continuing to miss action.

Jordan has posted double-digit rebounds in 15 straight games and has posted nine double-doubles and has picked up at least one block each game in that span.
