Fantasy sports is a numbers game, of course, and on Tuesday we advise you to go with the numbers, or at least the players who put up big numbers for their teams.
Several of these players will line up against struggling opponents--always a good sign for DFS gamers. And, most are consistent performers anyway, regardless of who their teams are playing.
Without further delay, below are our favorite Daily Fantasy College Basketball picks for FanDuel DFS games for February 23, 2016.
CBB DFS Guards to Target on FanDuel
Anthlon Bell - Arkansas (vs LSU, $5,900)
Bell is one of the few Razorbacks who, uh, ring the bell offensively. He averages 16 PPG. LSU is a tough opponent, but Arkansas is at home. Bell should get his buckets against the Boys from the Bayou.
Devaugntah Williams - Texas Tech (vs TCU, $4,500)
The Red Raiders are not a red-hot scoring team, but Williams is the best of the bunch, leading the Lubbock school's team in scoring (11.1 PPG). He could have a big night Tuesday against a disappointing TCU team, at home.
Justin Bibbs - Virginia Tech (vs Boston College, $4,900)
Bibbs' Hokies face BC on the road, but the Eagles have yet to win anywhere in the ACC this season, so a number of Hokies could be in for a big night. Bibbs averages 11.1 PPG anyway, so he seems like a sound play at the price.
Toddrick Gotcher - Texas Tech (vs TCU, $5,700)
Gotcher is averaging just 10.7 PPG this season, but he is coming off his best game of the season--24 points against Oklahoma State. The Red Raiders are at home to TCU, and should win and win big. Get Gotcher at the price.
Eli Carter - Boston College (vs Virginia Tech, $6,800)
The Eagles aren't likely to soar against the Hokies, even at home. But who cares if BC stays winless in the ACC as long as Carter gets his usual 15.8 PPG, 4 RPG, and 4.1 APG, which he will.
CBB DFS Forwards to Target on FanDuel
Craig Victor - LSU (vs Arkansas, $6,200)
To the Victor goes the spoils. Sorry. Victor's fabulous freshman teammate Ben Simmons gets all the ink, but Victor is a solid performer, averaging 12.6 PPG and 6 RPG. He's coming off a bad game and should be hungry to prove himself.
Joey King - Minnesota (vs Rutgers, $5,200)
King is hardly, well, a king. He averages 11.4 PPG and only 3.6 RPG. However, his Golden Gophers are at home against Rutgers, one of the worst--if not the worst--teams in the Big Ten. King should be king, at least for the day.
Charles Mitchell - Georgia Tech (vs Clemson, $6,200)
The Yellow Jackets will have their hands full at home against Clemson, but Mitchell has been a double-double machine all season, averaging 10.8 PPG and 10.2 RPG. The Tigers are big team, but Mitchell should still do well. At the price, he's a sound buy to fill out your roster.
