Tom Bellucco highlights the top NBA DFS lineup picks for 2/23/16, as well as a couple of sleepers to keep in mind while building your roster on FanDuel.

Another five games come at us on this Tuesday slate, and there should be plenty of points to go around. Some of the worst defenses and fastest offenses will be on display tonight, and that always makes for an exciting night of DFS. Tonight also seems like a great night to attempt a stars and scrubs approach. Hopefully some last minute injury news will allow us to do just that.

In this article, I will be providing you with Daily NBA picks for FanDuel for 2/23/16. The picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays.

FanDuel DFS Guards

PG - Damian Lillard (vs. BKN) - $9,500

Lillard has been of fire as of late, and he caught the eye of a lot of NBA fans with his monster outing against the Warriors last Friday night. He'll face a Nets team on Tuesday who doesn't really have the defensive ability to shut down anyone. Lillard's latest performances and his encouragingly high usage rate have shown that this is his team, and the points and assists should be way up in this contest.

PG - Brandon Jennings (at PHI) - $3,900

Since joining the Magic, Jennings has played 25 minutes in both of his games. While Elfrid Payton is still the starter, it's clear that Jennings is going to play a role off the bench. Not to mention, he could get some extra work if this one gets out of hand come the fourth quarter. At a price point that is near minimum, Jennings is a fine investment to go along with a star-studded lineup.

SG - Victor Oladipo (at PHI) - $6,800

Speaking of high usage rate, Oladipo has been shooting the ball as much as he wants lately. The 76ers are generous as a whole on defense, so I expect the aggressive guard to get plenty of open looks. Isn't DFS so much fun when tough defenses don't get in the way?

FanDuel DFS Forwards

SF - Danilo Gallinari (vs. SAC) - $7,100

Gallo has had his ups and downs so far in 2015-2016. With that being said, he's still getting his shots up. The Kings push the tempo (just like the Nuggets do), so this should game should feature a lot of shots. Gallinari can get hot in a hurry, and Sacramento can lose three-point shooters in transition like it's their job. The Denver forward seems like a safe bet for 20 points in this one.

SF - Maurice Harkless (vs. BKN) - $4,400

The Trail Blazers don't have much offense behind their starting guard tandem, but Harkless has been changing that slowly the past couple of weeks. He's consistently getting 25-30 minutes and he hasn't scored less than 11 points since February 4th. Add in a handful of rebounds and an assist or two and you have more than enough production for his price tag. Save some dough here.

PF - Aaron Gordon (at PHI) - $6,100

All of Orlando's roster moves have yet to affect Gordon. In fact, they seem to have solidified his role as a starter in this rotation. Gordon is dependable for close to a double-double every game, but he's also excellent at creating steals and blocking shots. Philadelphia is a team that provides blocks and steals a plenty, so Gordon is a seemingly safe option for cash games on Tuesday.

C - Nikola Jokic (vs. SAC) - $5,600

Jokic played well and reached 30 minutes on Sunday, and while we can predict that for every game here on out, it sure seems like Denver wants the young man to play. Sacramento has been eaten alive by opposing centers this season, and Jokic is athletic enough to get some cheap points and rebounds while running the floor in transition. His price isn't going to kill you either.
