DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice - NBA DFS Lineup Picks for 2/22/16

Several teams enter Monday having already played the day before. Other teams are banged up, weak at specific positions, and have looked for boosted production from other spots on the floor. Like the Miami Heat. Seven games make up Monday's card.

Tonight's DFS lineup advice features a ton of DraftKings value picks, including a surprise pick at center, and those hoping to break out in the midst of injuries. Also, be sure to stop by my live NBA DFS Q&A sessions Monday-Thursday, every week at 6 PM EST: NBA DFS Q&A with Demetri.

With that being said, below you can check out my daily fantasy NBA lineup picks for DraftKings DFS slates on 2/22/16.

DraftKings DFS Point Guards

Goran Dragic (vs IND, $6,200)

The Miami Heat have been pretty banged up. Dragic, who has also missed time this season, has recently stepped up nicely in the absence of Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade. Bosh will likely miss an extended amount of time while Wade's status is still up in the air.

If Wade can't go, Dragic's value increases even more, however, the point guard from Yugoslavia is a solid play regardless. He has been dolling out stats to each category pretty generously and is coming off a huge fantasy performance where he scored 24 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and dished out eight dimes.

Dennis Schroder (vs GS, $5,500)

Starting Hawks one-guard Jeff Teague left Atlanta's last contest against the Milwaukee Bucks in the third quarter with an injured right wrist, and despite return midway through the fourth, Teague exited the game with about 5:00 minutes left in regulation, wincing and flexing his hand.

In relief, Schroder dropped 25 points, ten assists, eight rebounds, one block, and one steal in 40 minutes. Schroder isn't necessarily handcuffed to the status of Teague but keep an eye on the status of Teague as his availability should be updated Monday morning/afternoon.

DraftKings DFS Shooting Guards

Andrew Wiggins (vs BOS, $6,300)

With the exception of the big KAT, Wiggins is one of the only scorers on the Timberwolves, and has slowly elevated his game throughout his second year in the NBA. Minnesota, like the Heat, are also depleted at certain positions, specifically power forward, while, despite Shabazz Muhammed's recent production, have struggled to establish consistency at the three-spot as well.

Wiggins has turned into at least a 20-point scoring threat and will help lead the charge and carry the load in a likely catchup game against the impressive Boston Celtics.

Arron Afflalo (vs TOR, $4,900)

The last time the New York Knicks faced the Toronto Raptors, Afflalo posted 20 points, four assists, and two rebounds in a game the Knicks fell behind early and stormed back in the third and fourth quarter, although again failed to amount the comeback. The same will likely be the case Monday against the Raptors as the Knicks have consistently played from behind all season.

Afflalo is nearly automatic for a double-digit scoring performance, however, since he doesn't contribute too heavily to other areas, he'll need to repeat or come close to repeating his performance the last time these two teams met to reach fantasy value. Afflalo drained three from downtown on three attempts as well, and will also need to pull the trigger from behind the arc to keep the Knicks in the game and keep himself relevant in Daily Fantasy.

DraftKings DFS Small Forwards

Justise Winslow (vs IND, $4,500)

Winslow, like Dragic, has benefited from the injuries in Miami. I really like Luol Deng here as well, but he will likely be a lot heavier owned than Winslow, while Winslow provides you with more wiggle room elsewhere in your lineup.

In his rookie year, Winslow has performed fairly well, displaying shades of what made him successful in his sole season at Duke. Winslow should start again against the Indiana Pacers, alongside Deng, in what should be a competitive matchup between two solid Eastern Conference teams. Likely to see around 30 minutes, Winslow is more than capable of flirting with double-digit rebounds and points.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (vs LAL, $7,100)

The Greek Freak is turning in a fine junior year in the NBA and has posted three straight double-doubles. As long as he stays out of foul trouble, Giannis should have no problem putting up a fourth straight against the very generous Los Angeles Lakers who are playing in their second straight game Monday.

Antetokounmpo is still relatively affordable and has remained so throughout the season. He is a consistently smart tournament and head-to-head play, while he adds being a multiple blocks threat per game to his repertoire.

DraftKings DFS Power Forwards

Draymond Green (at ATL, $8,900)

Despite recent erratic performances, Draymond Green has won over Daily Fantasy competitors this season as quickly and easily as Trump won South Carolina. It's hard not to like a guy who seemingly posts triple-doubles as often as Barry Bonds used to be intentionally walked. That's the last analogy, I promise.

Green heads into Monday coming off his league-leading 11th triple-double. The Warriors are also heading into what should be their second straight competitive contest with the Atlanta Hawks, ushering Green heavily into the mix to continue to spread his stats the way he has so altruistically done all year.

Kevin Love (vs DET, $7,300)

The Cavaliers are another team on this list that are relatively beat up at certain positions. Channing Frye likely won't be ready to suit up waiting to play his first game as a Cavalier, while James Jones hasn't played over ten minutes since the middle of January. Kyrie Irving is seemingly all alone at the one-spot and J.R. Smith leads the two-guard position without Iman Shumpert.

Enter Kevin Love and his valuable ability to produce double-doubles. Love has struggled a bit since before the all-star break but is coming off an impressive 15/15 performance against the Chicago Bulls and an impressive showing against the Thunder. I've always been a huge fan of the rebound and Love can break out for a solid amount with a solid amount of points to go with them on any given night.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Aron Baynes (at CLE, $3,300)

It's very difficult not going big at the center position, so it's already understood how strong of a play someone like DeAndre Jordan and Karl-Anthony Towns are and have been at the five spot.

The Pistons and the Cavaliers are playing in the second leg of back-to-back games Monday night, both traveling to and from somewhere different, both likely to give their backups some decent minutes. Baynes, although playing behind the formidable Andre Drummond, has been productive considering his price and time on the court of late. He shouldn't see more than 20 minutes but has been tallying just enough points, rebounds, and blocks to reach and exceed projection.
