Glen Perkins was once an elite relief pitcher for the Minnesota Twins, having posted an earned run average below 2.60 in 2011, 2012 and 2013. However, he has fallen off a bit since that time, with an ERA above 3.30 in each of the last two seasons. Perkins, now 32, is still a serviceable closer -- he converted 32 of his 35 save opportunities in 2015 -- but his overall numbers are not what they had been in his prime. His strikeout percentage, batting average against and fielding independent pitching have all gotten worse over the last three years. Perkins finished 20th among relievers in fantasy points in Fleaflicker leagues in 2015, and figures to remain outside the RP1 realm for 2016. Still, that doesn't mean he doesn't deserve a mid-round selection in all leagues, as he should have no problem racking up more than 30 saves for the fourth consecutive year.
