FanDuel DFS Point Guards
Ricky Rubio (at LAL) - $6,700
While this pick is not for cash games, the opportunity to buy low on one of the most dynamic point guards in the league is now. Rubio is consistently playing right around 30 minutes once again, and while he isn't going to light up the scoreboard, the Minnesota point man can fill up every category. The Lakers are the matchup to pick on right now for point guards, so Rubio is in a good spot Tuesday.
Marcus Smart (at NY) - $5,700
It's strange to get excited about backup point guards, but Smart has looked phenomenal lately. He needs 30 FDP to exceed value, and he's done that in four out of the last five games. The minutes have been there, and Smart should continue to produce in his newly expanded role for the Celtics.
FanDuel DFS Shooting Guards
Dwyane Wade (at HOU) - $7,900
James Harden defense is the worst kind of defense... unless you're on the other team. Wade gets a chance to exploit it on Tuesday, and the fast-paced Rockets should create more shots for Wade in transition. With Whiteside likely out again, look for Wade to shoulder the offensive load to keep up with Houston.
Devin Booker (vs. TOR) - $5,200
Without Brandon Knight, Booker has taken over the lead scoring role for Phoenix. The Raptors will push the pace, and Booker will get his shots no matter the score. Let's hope for one of the games in which the Suns' guard sticks his nose in on defense and on the boards rather than the 20-point zero-rebound outing.
FanDuel DFS Small Forwards
Carmelo Anthony (vs. BOS) - $9,000
The Knicks run their offense through Melo when he's healthy. The Celtics are tough this year, and Anthony will need to touch the ball every possession if New York is going to have a chance here. He may have one of his 20-10-10 nights in what should be a close game throughout.
Jae Crowder (at NY) - $6,100
He should be back to his full allotment of minutes Tuesday, and Crowder will have his work cut out for him covering Anthony. He is a safe bet for 25 FDP, and the extra time on the floor covering Melo should give Crowder enough minutes to exceed 30 FDP. The Celtic is a nice cash game play at a position that gets weak quickly after Melo.
FanDuel DFS Power Forwards
Julius Randle (vs. MIN) - $6,100
FanDuel hasn't accounted for Randle's solidfied starting spot until the All-Star Break. Playing big minutes every game, Randle is almost a sure bet for a double-double. Lock him in against a Timberwolves team that allows rebounds graciously to opposing teams.
Amar'e Stoudemire (at HOU) - $4,200
Assuming that Whiteside sits again, Stoudemire should continue seeing big minute at power forward. The Rockets have been gashed by that position all year, so the goggled-wonder will remain relevant for at least one more game. This price allows you to fit in the higher-priced players too.
FanDuel DFS Centers
Karl-Anthony Towns (at LAL) - $8,600
Towns has been dominating lately, and his price is showing it. I love Dwight Howard too, so take your pick here. Because of the great matchup KAT gets the nod for me. Lock him in against a Lakers team that does not have nearly enough size to matchup with the possible Rookie of the Year.
