It is rare that a player can have a "down year" while still claiming the AL batting title, but that's exactly what Miguel Cabrera did in 2015, as he quietly turned in a .338/.440/.534 line for the Detroit Tigers. Despite his favorable triple-slash numbers, 2015 wasn't a typical year for Cabrera, particularly in terms of his power production. He hit just 18 HR for Detroit last season, his lowest total since his rookie year in Florida. Cabrera was never quite healthy in 2015 and played in just 119 games -- a cause of concern for some fans as Cabrera enters his age-32 season. However, this offseason has been a smooth one for the two-time MVP. If the next few weeks go as planned, he will enter Spring Training healthier than he has in either of the last two seasons. If he stays healthy, he will likely be a top-tier fantasy player all year long. Don't let a two-year decline in ISO production fool you; when Miguel Cabrera is at full strength, he is the best hitter in the game of baseball.
