Most people will be starting the first round of the playoffs today, while others are trying to avoid an embarrassing last place finish. Either way, I'm here to tell you about some wide receivers who have low value that's could have an enormous impact today.
Vincent Jackson is currently listed as probable but has practiced in full the last couple days. Playing against a horrid New Orleans Saints defense, VJax should see his fair share of targets as he has played well when healthy. In his last three games he has 219 receiving yards with a touchdown.
Mix that with the fact Mike Evans is figuring to be matched up against the Saints best cornerback, leaving Jackson to hopefully deal with a struggling Brandon Browner. I like his odds of producing today.
Allen Hurns is set to play today after dealing with a thigh injury that caused him to miss last weeks game against the Tennessee Titans. Hurns has been second fiddle behind Allen Robinson all season but still has 7 touchdowns on the year with almost 800 receiving yards.
Hurns also has a red-hot Blake Bortles throwing the rock going up against an Indianapolis Colts defense that gave up 4 passing touchdowns to the Pittsburgh Steelers just last week. While Julius Thomas might fix into the action today, there should still be opportunities for Hurns to add to his TD total.
For those of you in deeper leagues I like Dorial Green-Beckham this week going up against a New York Jets defense giving up the sixth most fantasy points per game to receivers, according to ESPN. DGB caught 5 of 6 targets last week for 119 yards and a touchdown. If you're desperate or looking to take a chance, here's that chance.
