In the past, the Pittsburgh Steelers had been known as a tough, defensive football team that pounded the ball on the ground and used the passing game sparingly on their way to victories. Ever since Big Ben came into the fold though, the Steelers' identity has changed into that of a high-powered offense that will put up points in the blink of an eye. The Steelers did just that on their way to a 45-10 blowout of the Indianapolis Colts.
Pittsburgh was led by quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who threw the ball for 364 yards and four touchdowns on 24-for-39 passing. The Colts defense failed to pick Ben off or sack him over the course of the game. Sunday's performance was one of the best all year from Ben, who threw the ball with ease all over the field. Ben continues to be one of the best fantasy options at the quarterback position.
Receiver Antonio Brown had another big game on Sunday with Big Ben at the helm, hauling in eight receptions for 118 yards and two touchdowns. As we've seen throughout the course of this year, Brown plays much better when he has Roethlisberger throwing him the ball, hauling in at least five receptions and 50 yards in all but one game that Big Ben has played in this season (he caught the ball six times for 47 yards on Oct. 8 against the Oakland Raiders). Brown is a bonafide WR1, and arguably the best receiver in the game when he has Ben throwing him the football.
LeVeon who? DeAngelo Williams may have made some Steelers fans forget that they had one of the best running backs in the game go down with a season ending injury earlier this year. Williams rushed the ball 26 times for 134 yards, adding five receptions and 31 yards in the air in the Steelers' victory. Williams has done a great job in Bell's absence, filling in nicely with very comparable production in many of the games he's played in this season. He is a solid RB2 in fantasy, especially in PPR leagues.
