Despite playing on a team that is full of offensive weapons, Marvin Jones has asserted himself as a useful fantasy option. Jones has 42 catches for 540 yards and three TDs on the season. He is on pace to come close to his numbers from his 2013 season, though he won’t match the 10 TDs. Jones is a good deep threat opposite AJ Green, so his high ceiling should be appealing to owners.
The Bengals have two divisional games coming up against the Browns and the Steelers. Both teams rank towards the bottom of the league in passing yards allowed. Though Jones had one of his more unproductive games earlier this season against Pittsburgh, he should bounce back and contribute in what should be a high-scoring game.
Jones' fantasy value is supported by his relatively high number of targets for a secondary receiving option. He also has plenty of explosiveness, as shown by a 30-yard rush in last week’s game. Because he hasn’t scored a TD since October 18th against the Bills, perhaps owners have forgotten about Jones in your league. He should be owned in all leagues because of his deep ball ability, or at least as a handcuff for any freak AJ Green injury.
