The Carolina Panthers put their unbeaten record on the line this afternoon against the Washington Redskins. Cam Newton has been as reliable as anyone the past eight games, having scored at least two touchdowns in each of those games. Look for that to continue this week against a Redskins defense that has allowed at least two passing touchdowns in seven of the last eight games.
Ted Ginn Jr. hasn't been an elite fantasy option this year by any means but he does lead the Panthers in targets on throws at least fifteen yards. Washington's secondary is a bit banged-up so there's a chance we see some good things from Ginn today, assuming he catches what's thrown to him.
With no other real options at wide receiver, Greg Olsen should continue to rack up plenty of targets. The Redskins have done a heck of a job containing the tight end position so far this year (including Rob Gronkowski), but with little else to work with Cam will find ways to get him the ball.
Jonathan Stewart should crush it today, with Washington giving up 135.3 yards per game, good for third-worst in the NFL. Stewart also has at least 20 rush attempts the last five games. In a game where the Panthers should win outright, look for Stewart to get plenty of opportunities to run the rock all over the Skins.
