- "Shots attempted per 60 minutes" reflects a players shots on net + shots that missed net + shots that were blocked. It's a key stat to show how much a player possesses the puck generally, and is a predictive indicator for the number of shots a player will get on net.
- "Points per 60 minutes" reflects a players point production per 60 minutes of ice time. This is a great indicator of how productive a player is in their ice time. If a player has a high Points/60, and they get moved up to a top line, they'll represent a key sleeper play in the we

NHL DFS Picks for for Thursday, November 19th
There are a total of nine games in the NHL on Thursday night. Only the Washington Capitals are playing in back to back nights and the Anaheim Ducks(Road) and St. Louis Blues(Home) are playing a third game in four nights. As of writing this only Mike Condon for the Canadiens is a confirmed starting goaltender for Thursday night. Be sure to monitor @Jager_Bombs9 on Twitter for updates. Ben Bishop - Goaltender, Lightning (DraftKings - $7,600 FanDuel - $8,300)
Should only be used in GPP's tonight as it will be a very tough matchup vs the Eastern Conference leading New York Rangers. He has the numbers to back up the pick as he is 8-0 career vs. the Rangers with a .946 save percentage. Vegas tends to agree as well as the Lightning are slights -115 favorites at home.
Matt Duchene - Center, Avalanche (DraftKings - $5,500 FanDuel - $8,200)
He is a GPP play on FanDuel where he is a RW and comes with a higher salary but can be played in any format on DraftKings as he is still way under priced. Has points in seven of his last eight games with four of those being multi point efforts. As the trade talks heat up, he seems to be playing more inspired hockey.
Max Pacioretty - Winger, Canadiens (DraftKings - $8,100 FanDuel - $8,900)
Has been a key cog in the NHL's top scoring line. He has 17 points in 19 games with a +9 rating and 76 shots on goal. He is riding a five game point streak into a matchup at home vs. the Coyotes who are allowing 3.0 goals per game.
Melker Karlsson - Winger, Sharks (DraftKings - $3,700 FanDuel - $3,800)
Picked up a goal and an assist in his first game on the top line with Joe Thornton and Joe Pavelski. If he is on the top line again on Thursday, he is a must play in a matchup vs. the defensive lacking Flyers.
Oliver Ekman-Larsson - Defense, Coyotes (DraftKings - $5,400 FanDuel - $5,900)
Has a high floor on both sites as he sits 35th in the league with 17.5 shot attempts per 60 minutes of ice time. He also is playing over 25:00 per game with an amazing 6:06 a game on the powerplay. It is a tough matchup but he makes a safe cash game play on Thursday night.
