BALLER MOVE: Add in 16+ Team Leagues

ANALYSIS: Well, if you’re in need of a lottery ticket here you are. Shaun Draughn (not to be confused with Reuben Droughns) was signed by the San Francisco 49ers in a depth move after Reggie Bush suffered a torn MCL and is out for 2015. Carlos Hyde is dealing with a foot injury and Mike Davis has his own hand injury that requires surgery, and the 49ers waived Jarryd Hayne (though he cleared waivers and was re-signed). That’s a pretty big body count that was necessary for Draughn to even be signed.
The 49ers are making this move out of desperation, and that should be the circumstance that you find yourself in if you’re rostering Shaun Draughn. He spent several weeks with the Cleveland Browns earlier in the year, but was cut once Robert Turbin was ready to play for them. Kendall Gaskins should get the first crack over Draughn since he knows the playbook, and the newly signed Pierre Thomas should take the Reggie Bush passing down snaps. If Gaskins falters then Draughn might get a chance to run with it as long as Hyde and Davis are shelved. If you have deep benches in a deep league, you can buy the Powerball ticket here, but otherwise you should pass.
