On a positive note for Tyrod Taylor owners, he was able to take first reps at quarterback with the Bills on Wednesday. On a negative note, so did EJ Manuel. Giving some positive spin on the matter, NFL.com notes that Taylor was taking more reps today than he did at this point last week. Then again, last week ended with Taylor pouting on the sidelines in a hoodie, so that doesn’t give one a great deal of confidence.
As for what this means to fantasy owners, that’s a tough call. Taylor has been spectacular this season, but a lot of that hinges on his legs – even if Taylor is healthy enough to start, how much of a fantasy asset is he if he’s not running at full strength? At this point, you are best off holding on to whatever backup options you had last Sunday, but watch closely as we get towards the weekend to see how things progress.
