Tests done on Green Bay Packers wide receiver Ty Montgomery have come back negative. The rookie left the Packers Week 6 game against the San Diego with an ankle injury that seemed serious at the time. However, the tests have proved that Montgomery didn't suffer any structural damage.
The rookie likely has a severe sprain which could still keep him out of action for awhile. Luckily, the Packers have the benefit of a nicely timed bye week. They won't return to the football field until Week 8 when they're scheduled to face the Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football.
Montgomery has no value at this time in redraft leagues. He's only worth owning in dynasty leagues.
