Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb has been dealing with a bum shoulder since Week 4 and it doesn't sound like it will get any better going forward. Cobb told the media that the injury may be a problem for the rest of the season.
“I think it’s a possibility it could be,” Cobb said, according to ESPN.
For fantasy football owners, the good news is that the injury isn't bad enough to keep Cobb from playing. When Jordy Nelson went down for the season it was clear that Cobb would have a huge role with the team. Without him, Aaron Rodgers and the Packers offense would struggle in the passing game.
Cobb should be considered a WR2 going forward. He may not always put up huge numbers like a WR1, but he's a safe play and a consistent performer.
