St. Louis Rams RB Todd Gurley had 30 carries for 159 yards in Sunday's loss to the Green Bay Packers. Gurley looked sharp in just his second career start, averaging 5.3 yards per carry.
Gurley received 30 carries, proving that his knee is back at full strength and able to carry a heavy workload from week to week. Today marked Gurley's second straight 100-yard game, as he rushed for 146 yards last week against a tough Arizona Cardinals defense.
Gurley is giving his fantasy owners plenty to look forward to. He's showing that he can make all the cuts and take the hits that made him so great in college. While Gurley has yet to find the end zone, he has some nice matchups after next week's bye, including games vs Cleveland, San Francisco, Chicago, Detroit and Tampa Bay.
If you own Gurley in fantasy, he is a border-line RB1 for the rest of the year, with enough upside to finish as a top-10 running back despite missing the first two weeks.
