It’s not the on-field performance that’s affected Jordan Reed’s stock. Through four weeks he has 24 receptions, 278 yards and a touchdown. However, he left the Washington Redskins Week 4 matchup with a concussion, and it’s far from the first in his career.
Reed missed the final seven games of his rookie season with a concussion and admitted afterward that he may have suffered a concussion two weeks prior. He missed twelve games due to various injuries over his first two seasons - and on top of a concussion, the Washington tight end is dealing with knee and ankle injuries, too.
We all know how talented he is and hope that he’ll have a long and healthy future, but it’s looking more and more like Reed will be a player perpetually on the injury report. With space for tight ends limited on any fantasy roster, it’s going to be hard to keep Reed around.
