Houston Texans head coach Bill O'Brien has announced that his team will stick with Ryan Mallett under center despite benching him for Brian Hoyer against the Atlanta Falcons in week 4.
"He's our starting quarterback. [But] he needs to do better," O'Brien said.
Just because the Texans are sticking with Mallett for another week doesn't mean you should. If you have him on your roster, drop him and pick up somebody more useful. It doesn't really matter who you pickup. Heck, pick up a second defense or kicker for all I care - just don't waste a roster spot on Mallett, Hoyer or anybody else who plays quarterback for the Texans.
It's clear that Mallett nor Hoyer are long-term solutions for the Texans. The team will likely look to use their first-round pick in the 2016 NFL draft on a quarterback.
The only Texans you should consider starting in your fantasy football league for week 5 are running back Arian Foster (or Alfred Blue if Foster suffers any sort of injury setback) and wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.
