Cleveland Browns wide receiver Travis Benjamin is dealing with sore ribs and was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday. Benjamin has put up great numbers through the first three weeks of the season with 10 receptions for 240 yards and four touchdowns.
Although Benjamin has up good numbers, he lives and dies by the touchdown. He's a big-play receiver, but far from being a possession receiver and that alone makes him a risky fantasy option. Nobody on the Browns roster is a recommended fantasy start at this point in time.
Benjamin has more fantasy value when Johnny Manziel is starting a quarterback instead of Josh McCown, who doesn't have a very strong arm. Manziel, on the other hand, has a cannon and isn't afraid to go deep which gives Benjamin more chances to make a big play.
Hold onto Benjamin for now, but don't start him unless you're desperate.
