Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Julius Thomas has still not been cleared to play according to the Florida Times Union. The former Broncos tight end has been recovering from a broken right hand suffered on Aug. 14.
It is believed that he will return to the lineup around week 6, and when he does - he should be one of quarterback Blake Bortles favorite targets in the passing game. Thomas is arguably the third best receiving tight end in the game after Rob Gronkowski and Jimmy Graham.
With that said, do not drop Thomas from your fantasy rosters just yet. If you've held onto him this long - you can hold onto him for a couple more weeks. In the meantime, consider picking up Baltimore Ravens rookie Maxx Williams who should see a lot of targets this week with Crockett Gilmore out of action.
If we hear that Thomas will be out of action until closer to week 9, then he may be droppable in redraft leagues.
