BALLER MOVE: Add in Deeper / 2QB Leagues; Matchup Streamer
OWNED IN: 37% of Fleaflicker Leagues
ANALYSIS: The Bengals are a solid defense this year, but certainly not a great one. They have allowed exactly two touchdowns, and have had one interception, in each of their first three games.
So far it hasn’t mattered if it was Matt McGloin throwing, Philip Rivers or Joe Flacco. And I think there is a good chance that the Chiefs will be the toughest opponent the Bengals have faced so far. I still feel that this offense is underrated, and the weapons (Jamaal Charles, Travis Kelce, Jeremy Maclin) are just too talented for the Bengals to contain.
Alex Smith should be a very safe play that you can plug in for Week 4, and he certainly won’t kill you. He makes for a solid matchup stream if your QB is on a BYE this week, or if you're in a deeper league and looking to upgrade at the quarterback position.
