In pure talent terms, Brandon Marshall may be a top 10 NFL wide receiver. Coming into the 2015 season though, some were concerned the injuries may have added up - and even more analysts were concerned about his role on a bad offense.
Through the first two weeks, the Jets offense has performed quite well however. Marshall has been a big part of that, putting up a 6-62-1 line in W1 and a 7-101-1 line in Week Two. When analyzing weekly matchups, I often targeted the Eagles defense as an easy opponent with my QBs and WRs last year. And so far this year, I haven’t found any great reason to stop doing so.
With Decker’s status up in the air for this week, it would seem that Marshall's floor is higher than ever, and there is plenty of upside for a big-time game. In case you were considering getting cute, just be sure to have Marshall inserted into your Week 3 fantasy football lineups. He makes for a nice target in daily league formats as well. This could be one of the biggest wide receiver booms of the week.
