ANALYSIS: Percy Harvin impressed in his Week 1 performance against the Indianapolis Colts, hauling in 5-of-5 targets for 79 yards and a touchdown. In fact, Harvin was the only impressive receiver for the Bills, as the team's top wideout, Sammy Watkins, was left catchless on two targets. I had previously written my prediction that Watkins would experience some growing pains in his second professional season. Of course, the youngster will bounce back eventually, as he is just to talented to do otherwise. However, the real story here is the impressive play of quarterback Tyrod Taylor, who won his first NFL start against a very good football team. If Taylor can continue this level of proficiency and Harvin can get back on track, this could be the beginning of a mutually beneficial relationship for the two. In his first three season with Minnesota, Harvin tallied 1,843 yards with 17 touchdowns. We all know what he is capable of. The Bills have a couple of tough divisional matchups coming up against the Patriots and Dolphins. Stash Harvin now - if he can continue to perform like this against tough teams, he will be a valuable asset for the rest of the season.
