Below are my FanDuel lineup picks for Saturday, September 6th. My goal with these DFS picks, as always, is to try to choose players who will outperform their expectations. These players can be high-cost players, or they can be sleepers, but we are always looking for players that have a chance to return the greatest value on FanDuel. Additionally, since the weekends generally have many afternoon and night games, I’ll make an effort to distribute my picks to cover all the time slots going forward so that if you are playing an afternoon/night only league this article will still be useful.
Daily fantasy baseball leagues (DFS) are becoming the thing to do, and here at RotoBaller we are excited to help our users build their bankrolls. I’ll be covering FanDuel lineup picks, sleepers and general advice every Saturday and Sunday. I’ll also be putting my money where my mouth is by entering my final lineup (at the bottom of the article) into one of FanDuel’s many daily fantasy contests, so that RotoBaller users can compete against me.

DFS Starting Pitchers To Consider for FanDuel
Johnny Cueto (SP, KC) - $10,900
Cueto is at home against the White Sox today, 27th in the league in runs scored, which should help him get over his struggles thus far in KC. He has a 4.21 ERA since joining his new club, but expect that to come down after today.
Brett Anderson (SP, LAD) - $7,100
Petco Park isn't the pitcher's haven it used to be, but the Padres lineup doesn't put any fear into opposing pitcher's. Anderson has quietly put together a nice year with a 3.43 ERA and 8 wins, while staying healthy for the first time since his rookie year in 2009. *knock on wood*
DFS Infielders To Consider for FanDuel
Buster Posey (C, SF) - $4,300
It's a little pricey for a catcher, but Posey in Colorado is fantasy gold. For his career, Posey has triple-slashed .393/.451/.613 in Coors Field. Today, he gets lefty Yohan Flande in what may be Posey's best fantasy matchup of the year.
Adrian Gonzalez (1B, LAD) - $3,100
At this price you don't pass up a player with Gonzalez' skill set. He's a consistent source of average (.279) and power (26 HR's) and can have a double digit point day against anyone.
DFS Outfielders To Consider for FanDuel
Marlon Byrd (OF, SF) - $4,000
Byrd is playing in Coors against a lefty. It doesn't get much better as a right handed power bat.
Andrew McCutchen (OF, PIT) - $5,000
This is purely anecdotal, but doesn't it seem like every time the Pirates really need to win, Cutch shows up in a big way. Guess what, the Pirates really need to win today.
FanDuel Sleeper Value of the Day
Gregor Blanco (OF, SF) - $2,300
After only playing once this week, Blanco returned on Saturday and launched a home run. Coors Field is the right place to choose to get healthy as a hitter and fantasy lineups will get healthy with a cheap Blanco today.
My DFS Lineup on FanDuel
Today I’ll be playing in $10K MLB Squeeze game. Remember to check your lineups throughout the day. You never want to get a goose egg for a guy that didn’t play.
