Below are my FanDuel lineup picks for Saturday, August 15th. My goal with these DFS picks, as always, is to try to choose players who will outperform their expectations. These players can be high-cost players, or they can be sleepers, but we are always looking for players that have a chance to return the greatest value on FanDuel. Additionally, since the weekends generally have many afternoon and night games, I’ll make an effort to distribute my picks to cover all the time slots going forward so that if you are playing an afternoon/night only league this article will still be useful.

DFS Starting Pitchers To Consider for FanDuel

Sonny Gray (SP, OAK) - $10,700

The only pitcher I'm using today. Perfect matchup. At home. I think this has 20 point potential.

DFS Infielders To Consider for FanDuel

Eric Hosmer (1B, KC) - $3,700

Hosmer faces Boston righty Matt Barnes and his not-so-tidy 6.59 ERA. Enough said.

Adrian Beltre (3B, TEX) - $3,300

Adrian Beltre faces Randy Wolf tomorrow. No offense, but I didn't know Randy Wolf was alive, let alone still pitching in the big leagues. He didn't pitch in 2013, threw 25 innings in 2014, and hasn't thrown any big league innings this season. Five of Beltre's eleven homers this year have come off left-handed pitchers despite only having approximately half as many at-bats vs. lefties.

DFS Outfielders To Consider for FanDuel

Lorenzo Cain (OF, KC) - $3,900 Can't get enough Cain. He can score in so many different ways. He has career highs already in doubles, triples, home runs, and RBI.

Jay Bruce (OF, CIN) - $2,800 Bruce has had a resurgent season, with 18 homers to his name right now. 15 of those 18 homers have come against righties, and Bruce will be facing off with right-hander Randall Delgado on Saturday in hitter-friendly Cincinnati.

FanDuel Sleeper Value of the Day

Yadier Molina (C, STL) - $2,500 Molina has a .333 average in 15-at bats against opposing pitcher Ian Kennedy. Molina has also had a bit of a power surge this week with two homers in his previous three games entering Friday night.
