There are three matches this Sunday in the English Premier League to whet the footballing appetite:

West Bromwich Albion v Chelsea

This is a very interesting fixture given that West Bromwich Albion have been something of a nemesis for Chelsea in recent seasons.  Two managers have lost their jobs following Albion wins in this fixture in recent years.  Could it really happen a third time?  Anything other than a Chelsea win and the grim reaper may be making his way towards West London.  Tony Pulis will not make the same mistake twice and expect Albion to 'Park the Bus' and see if Chelsea can find a way through.  We expect them to make hard work of it, but nevertheless get the job done.

Prediction: West Bromwich Albion 0  Chelsea 1

Watford v Southampton

This should be a lively affair.  Watford played some very open and adventurous soccer last weekend but couldn't find the way past a resolute West Bromwich Albion defense.  However, we think that if they play so open against Southampton, they might pay a big price.  Southampton are masters on the counter attack.  One word of caution is that teams who play in the Europa League on a Thursday, normally struggle on the following Sunday, but we do not think this will happen on this occasion.

Prediction: Watford 1 v Southampton 3
