BALLER MOVE: Short-Term Add in 12+ Team Leagues

ANALYSIS: Utley has been on a roll of late and now he's on his way to LA. He gets a boost hitting in that lineup, but there are some caveats here. When Howie Kendrick comes back from his hamstring injury, Utley will likely be relegated to the bench. Even before this, he will have to compete with Kike Hernandez for playing time.
For fantasy purposes, he would've been better off staying in Philadelphia. That's not the way real baseball works though, and as such the smart play here is to ride him while he's hot. He could also be a good injury replacement or sub for another player who has a tough matchup.
His BABIP on the season is very low at a measly .227, which indicates this little outburst could be more of the "real Utley." His average is also 31 points higher against righties in 2015, so obviously playing him against them is a smart play.
