Swansea City have been very quiet this post season at a time when perhaps they had every reason to be loud and proud. We hope that satisfaction with an excellent season last time around doesn't lead to any complacency.
In the EPL it is always said that the best time to invest is when you have been successful, whilst currently Swansea have been completely inactive in the transfer market.

The style of play at Swansea is a joy to behold and a record points total was testament to how well the squad performed throughout the season. They are especially potent in midfield where they have an excellent balance with Jack Cork in a holding role, Jonjo Shelvey offering a more expansive passing range and Gylfi Sigurdsson a constant goal threat.
Wayne Routledge, Nathan Dyer and Bafetimbi Gomis also contribute to the Swans attacking threat along with Ki Sung-yueng whose contribution of 8 goals was both unexpected and very welcome to a club whose leading scorer only managed just 10 goals.
Garry Monk will however need to make additions to his squad especially in the attacking third of the field. With Michu due to leave the club and Wilfrid Bony now at Manchester City scoring goals consistently throughout the entire season will be a vital commodity. Gomis will be the leading figure in this respect but Swansea will need attacking reinforcements. If they do not come then it could be a more difficult season this time around.
Prediction: Mid table security assured.
Players to watch: Gylfi Sigurdsson (Midfielder), Ki Sung-yueng (Midfielder), Bafetembi Gomis (Attacker).
