Chelsea was the dominant force in the EPL last season. Ten years ago, Chelsea was crowned Champions and went on to retain their title, so can Jose Mourinho repeat the trick this time around?
The success of Chelsea is as always built on defensive strength. In Thibaut Courtois they have arguably the best goalkeeper in the world, and you can expect many shutouts with such a strong defensive unit in front of him.

Choose any Chelsea defender for fantasy soccer, and he will rarely let you down. Branislav Ivanovic, John Terry and Gary Cahill Chelsea not only have rock solid defensive coverage, but also the ability to snatch goals from set piece opportunities.
Eden Hazard was footballer of the year, and his consistency merited that award. Chelsea had a very settled midfield last season with Nemanja Matic, Cesc Fabregas, Oscar and Willian providing a tremendous lineup. The former has the potential to be one of the top midfield players in the World, and is a vital component of the team.
Diego Costa is the kind of player you would love in your side. He is aggressive, and must be a nightmare to play against. His demeanor sometimes can mask just how good a finisher he is, but he will be prolific once more.
Radamel Falcao was potentially one of the world's great strikers two seasons ago, but his time at both Monaco and Manchester United has proven to be nothing short of a disaster. Expect Mourinho to work his magic, and if he can do so then Falcao will potentially represent amazing fantasy soccer value.
Prediction: Will be absolutely in the hunt for a repeat, although they will have to settle for the runners up berth this year.
Key performers: Goalkeeper: Thibaut Courtois, Midfield: Nemanja Matic, Striker: Radamel Falcao
