Happy Wednesday! For all of you playing on Fanduel, I'm sure you are aware of the new format they rolled out last week. We now get the statistics of what percentage of the players in your specific tournament are owned, as well as how many innings you still have yet to play. The innings thing is cool, but what were going to use to help us is those percentages. I've been looking into them over the last week and though we may have suspected it, we now know that players on bad teams are owned on far fewer daily lineups. We are going to target the Mariners today since I think Santana is spent and is going to get blown up. If he does, and not that many people have Mariners, we should coast to the money.
P C.C. Sabathia - I'm not going to lie-- I'm a little scared of this one. But I have a feeling with the Yankees being on fire that Sabathia is going to step up his game tonight. I'm going to assume that at least 30-40% of the players tonight are going to roll out Liriano. He is going against the Brewers for the third time this year and he is 2-0. If you think Liriano is going to shut them down again, you can go with the sheep and hope to outhit your competition, but I'll take my chances with C.C.
2B Nick Franklin - His splits for this game are absurd-- he's better on the road and versus RHP. Santana is running out of gas, and I think this one could get ugly.
3B Kyle Seager - His split are strong, but his BvP isn't. Nevertheless, since were rolling with the M's tonight, were going to hope he gets up with men on base and booooooooooooommmmmsss one outta the park!
SS Brad Miller - If the Mariners score 10 runs, you're going to want their leadoff man in there. He crushes righties and hits better on the road, as it seems all Mariners do.
OF Jacoby Ellsbury - BvP: 6-for-7 with a HR and two SB ???? Those are very nice numbers.
OF Torii Hunter - BvP: 6-for-9 with one double, one triple and six RBI??? Bonkers numbers.
OF Carlos Beltran - He's hitting .400 and slugging .743 in his career vs. Arroyo. The Cardinals need to turn it up in a crucial series against the divisional rival, and I expect this wily veteran to carry his team down the stretch.
