Happy Wednesday! I wish everyone luck in their early endeavors, but we are going to tackle some promising night games tonight.
I love the Red Sox, and I love the Yankees... get as many of these players into your lineups as possible tonight, because I think a lot of our studs are going to go BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM tonight!
MLB Daily Leagues Lineup Picks for August 21, 2013
P - Anibal Sanchez - There's not much in terms of pitching today. Sanchez is a huge favorite against the Twins, who look to be giving up. The one hot bat they've got (Morneau) has a negative history against Sanchez. I think he is by far the safest choice to get 15+ points for you tonight.
1B - David Ortiz - Barry Zito plain old sucks! Sorry, but he does... lefties, righties, home, away-- it doesn't matter. I honestly think I could take him deep a few times in ten at bats.
2B - Dustin Pedroia - See above, and prepare to score three runs at a minimum.
3B - Alex Rodriguez - Since the human lighting rod has come back, the Yankees have all of a sudden become one of the best-hitting teams in the league. R.A. Dickey is not the same pitcher he was a year ago, and I see the Yankees continuing their hot-hitting ways.
OF - Jacoby Ellsbury - I'm trying not to get redundant here, but I think you get the point-- The BoSox are going to smash Zito.
OF - Curtis Granderson - Dickey has let up 20 homers to lefties on the year! Get the Grandy Man in your lineup!
