ANALYSIS: On Friday, Seattle's manager said that Tom Wilhelmsen is out for now as the Mariner's closer. On Thursday, Wilhelmsen gave up 4 ER without getting an out - Oliver Perez then came into the game and gave up 2 ERs himself. It looks like Yoervis Medina is the next in line here for saves. He's been pitching in late game situations for a while now, picked up a save earlier in the year when Wilhelmsen was demoted, and has some of the best numbers in the Mariner's bullpen with a 2.79 ERA / 1.26 WHIP and 41 Ks in 42 IP. Pick him up as a deep league flier if you're looking for saves.
