Vegas Golden Knights forward Ivan Barbashev registered two points, including the game-winning goal, in Saturday's 4-3 overtime victory against the Minnesota Wild. Minnesota was looking to grab a 3-1 playoff series lead for the first time in franchise history, but Barbashev had other plans. He picked up an early power-play assist and scored his first career overtime goal in the Stanley Cup Playoffs with 17:26 played in the extra frame. These are Barbashev's first points of the postseason. He has been held in check by the Wild after Barbashev had his second 50-point campaign, notching 23 goals and 28 assists in 70 regular-season games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Vegas Golden Knights left wing Ivan Barbashev found the back of the net during their 3-2 victory over the Vancouver Canucks on Sunday evening. Barbashev scored his 21st goal of the campaign in the opening frame on a backhand. This is only the second time in his career that he scored more than 20 goals in a campaign. He is just three away from matching his career-best (24). This goal also snapped Barbashev's scoring skid. Entering Sunday, the 29-year-old has only tallied four points (all helpers) over his last eight games. Before this skid, Barbashev was quite productive, scoring five goals and adding five assists over his previous 13 games. Fantasy managers in deeper formats should continue to start Barbashev as he is deployed on the top forward unit alongside Jack Eichel and Mark Stone. He will look to stay hot on Tuesday against the Colorado Avalanche.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Vegas Golden Knights left wing Ivan Barbashev (personal) will return to the starting lineup on Thursday to face the Columbus Blue Jackets. Barbashev was unable to suit up during their last contest on Tuesday evening. Fantasy managers should expect the 29-year-old to return to his typical role in the bottom-six of the Vegas offense. Before his minor absence, Barbashev tallied six points (three goals) over his last five contests. During this span, he tallied eight shots on goal with seven hits and two blocked shots. Barbashev has occasionally seen time on the top unit alongside Jack Eichel throughout the season but has recently begun to shift to the bottom-six. As a result, he is a high-risk play in DFS competitions as he may not see a consistent amount of ice time.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Vegas Golden Knights left wing Ivan Barbashev tallied four points during their 7-5 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday evening. Barbashev tallied his first point in the opening frame on a secondary assist on Nicholas Hague's goal. Later in this frame, Barbashev found the back of the net on the power-play. In the second, Barbashev tallied the primary helper on Keegan Kolesar's strike. Then in the final frame, Barbashev found the back of the net, this time on a tip-in during 5-on-5 play. Entering this contest, Barbashev tallied two points (one goal) over his last four contests. Over his last 12 games, Barbashev has tallied nine points and held a strong +9 rating. He remains a solid option in deeper formats during his recent surge. He will look to continue this offensive production on Sunday against the New Jersey Devils.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Vegas Golden Knights forward Ivan Barbashev (upper body) is on track to return to the lineup on Saturday against the Rangers. Barbashev was a full participant in Friday's practice and has been activated from Injured Reserve. He has missed nearly a month of action, sitting out 10 games. Despite the long absence, Barbashev shares the team lead in goals with 15 and has had a good scoring rate on the first line this season. The Russian forward has bagged 30 points in 31 games. Tanner Pearson is expected to drop back to the fourth line with Barbashev's return.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
