Jordan Beck's Power Surge Continues, Homers Twice On Friday
Jordan Beck went 2-for-3 with two home runs and two walks in Friday's 8-7 loss to the Cincinnati Reds. Beck blasted a solo shot in the bottom of the third inning for his first homer of the game. He later belted another solo shot in the eighth inning to make it a one-run ball game. Beck's second home run of the game was a towering blast that traveled 437 feet at 107.2 mph. The 24-year-old has now homered five times over his last three games. He is hitting a robust .667 (6-for-9) with five home runs, five RBI, and a stolen base during that three-game span. Overall, Beck is slashing .282/.391/.718 with five home runs, nine RBI, nine runs, and four stolen bases across 15 games. Beck continues to start with Brenton Doyle (personal) out, and fantasy managers should continue to roll with him while he's swinging a hot bat.

Jordan Beck Homers Three Times On Thursday
Jordan Beck had a big day in a Thursday doubleheader against the Kansas City Royals. Across both games of the doubleheader, Beck combined to go 3-for-6 with three homers, a walk, three runs, and three RBI. Beck was one of the few bright spots on the day as the Rockies dropped both games of the doubleheader. The 24-year-old outfielder is now hitting .250 with three homers, seven runs, seven RBI, and three steals across 36 at-bats in 2025. Beck will look to stay hot as the Rockies open up a weekend series against the Cincinnati Reds.

Jordan Beck Recalled From Triple-A
Jordan Beck from Triple-A Albuquerque. In a corresponding move, the Rockies officially placed outfielder Brenton Doyle on the bereavement roster effective April 17. Beck was able to earn a spot on the Opening Day roster but was later optioned to Triple-A after he struggled during the early part of the campaign. Through nine games this season, the 24-year-old posted a disappointing .150/.261/.150 slash line with just three total hits (all singles). He generated a low .193 xwOBA with a .122 xBA, which were both well below the average marks. Beck carried these struggles into Triple-A as he held a .143/.189/.286 line with one triple and one home run across nine contests. Beck is starting in left field on Saturday afternoon and could find a part-time role in the outfield while Doyle remains sidelined.

Jordan Beck The Leading Candidate For Right Field Job
Jordan Beck is said to have the inside track for the right field job in 2025, according to manager Bud Black. The former 38th overall draft pick had a successful minor-league career, slashing .284/.380/.509 with 36 home runs and 26 stolen bases in 194 games, but struggled in his major-league debut last season. The University of Tennessee product hit .188 with three home runs and a 35.3 percent strikeout rate in his 55-game audition while also spending time on the injured list with a fractured left hand. On the bright side, he did flash some speed, stealing seven bases in 184 plate appearances. ATC projections don't foresee a big season in store for the 23-year-old, but fantasy managers should keep an eye on him, as talented players calling Coors Field home tends to be a good thing for fantasy.

Rockies Recall Jordan Beck
Jordan Beck from Triple-A Albuquerque on Monday and placed first baseman/outfielder Kris Bryant (back) on the 10-day injured list with a back strain in a corresponding move. Beck, the Rockies' No. 3 prospect per MLB Pipeline, will be in his second stint with the Rockies this year. The 23-year-old former 38th overall pick in 2022 out of Tennessee struggled in his first stint with the big-league club earlier this year, going just 15-for-79 (.190) with two homers, eight RBI, two steals and 30 strikeouts in 81 plate appearances. He is not in Monday's starting lineup against the division-rival Arizona Diamondbacks but will provide depth for the Rockies' outfield with Bryant out again. Beck also missed considerable time in the minors with a fractured left hand but has hit .319/.402/.558 with a .960 OPS with eight homers, 35 RBI and six steals in 39 games for the Isotopes.
