The Broncos added to their defensive secondary by selecting cornerback Jahdae Barron out of Texas with the No. 20 pick in the NFL Draft. Barron won the 2025 Thorpe Award Winner for the best defensive back in the country after snagging five interceptions and not allowing a touchdown all season. He added 67 tackles, 11 pass deflections, and one sack, showing off versatility that should make him successful at the NFL level. Barron will join Patrick Surtain II to give the Broncos one of the best defensive backfields in the league. Some Broncos fans may be disappointed that the team didn't go with an offensive playmaker, but they added a player who should be a very valuable contributor right away on defense.--Zach Thompson - RotoBallerRead More News
