Logan O'Hoppe Out Against Pirates
15 seconds agoLos Angeles Angels catcher Logan O'Hoppe is out of the starting lineup for Wednesday's contest against the visiting Pittsburgh Pirates at Angel Stadium in Anaheim. Travis d'Arnaud is doing the catching for right-hander Jack Kochanowicz and will hit fifth in the batting order versus Pirates left-hander Andrew Heaney. Although he's only faced Heaney six times in his career, d'Arnaud has taken him deep twice for solo shots, making him worth a look as a low-cost DFS sleeper on Wednesday evening. In the early going in 2025, the 25-year-old O'Hoppe has been one of the Angels' best hitters, slashing .284/.304/.522 with an .827 OPS, five home runs, nine RBI and eight runs scored in 67 at-bats. He should be back in the starting lineup for the Halos for Thursday's series finale against the Bucs. O'Hoppe entered Wednesday with a short three-game hitting streak in which he's gone 3-for-11 with a walk and run scored.
