Daniel Susac Named Pacific Coast League Hitter Of The Week
41 seconds agoAthletics catching prospect Daniel Susac enjoyed an impressive week en route to earning Pacific Coast League Hitter of the Week honors. Over his last seven contests, Susac has begun to find his power, as he went deep three times and added three doubles. During this power surge, the 23-year-old backstop held a .400/.438/.800 slash line with 10 RBI. Before this surge, Susac held an underwhelming .174/.240/.217 slash line. The former 19th overall pick spent his entire 2024 campaign with Double-A Midland and was able to earn a promotion to Triple-A Las Vegas to open the 2025 season. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his progression, but it appears Susac has begun to turn the corner on his slow start. If the Arizona product continues to hit for power, he could push for an MLB debut later this season.
