Blake Treinen Dealing With Low-Grade Forearm Injury
14 seconds agoLos Angeles Dodgers right-handed pitcher Blake Treinen (forearm) is dealing with a low-grade sprain and will begin a "conservative" rehab. The reliever will not have to undergo surgery. This is an excellent sign as Treinen was placed on the 15-day injured list with a forearm injury on Saturday. However, it appears the 36-year-old has avoided a significant injury. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his progression as he slowly increases his workload. Through the early part of the campaign, the right-hander has held a 3.38 ERA with a 1.38 WHIP across eight innings of work. He has struck out 10 batters, tallied three holds, and earned two saves. He has generated a strong 3.47 xERA with a stellar 31.8 percent hard-hit rate. While the right-hander remains out, Tanner Scott should see the bulk of the save opportunities with Kirby Yates and Alex Vesia mixing in.
