Landen Roupp Earns Second Win Of The Season
20 seconds agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Landen Roupp had another strong start on Saturday night, holding the Angels to just two runs on five hits over seven innings. He had nine strikeouts and limited the damage to just a pair of solo home runs by Mike Trout. This was Roupp's longest outing of the year and his second straight victory. He has compiled a 4.09 ERA and 3.25 FIP across 22 innings with an impressive 11.9 K/9. The 26-year-old has made a successful transition from the bullpen to the rotation so far this season, and he is a good streaming and NL-only option against the Brewers for his next start on Thursday. If he keeps posting outings like this one, he'll soon be mixed-league material as well.
