Two-Start Pitchers: Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Streamers and Starts for Week 4 (2025)

Max Meyer - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Pranav's two-start pitchers, fantasy baseball streamers and starts for Week 4 of 2025 (April 21 to April 27). His top waiver wire SPs with two starts coming up.

Hey RotoBallers! We are back with another two-start pitchers - fantasy baseball waiver wire streamers and starts article for Week 4 of 2025 from April 21 to April 27. Rotations are starting to settle into place, giving us a good variety of pitchers to work with.

Each week of the 2025 fantasy baseball season, this fantasy baseball waiver wire pickups column will identify starting pitchers in line to make two starts in the upcoming week. It will look at fantasy baseball streamers ahead of the Sunday night waiver wire run for leagues with weekly transactions.

There are 28 pitchers currently scheduled to make two starts during this period. We will examine the ideal options that have roster rates under 50 percent. Pitchers with roster rates over 50 percent will also be listed. The other two-start pitchers are available, but they should be avoided.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy baseball lineup tools and resources:

Two-Start Pitchers - Over 50% Rostered

Best Available Two-Start Pitcher Streamers

Max Meyer (46% Rostered), Miami Marlins

Scheduled Starts: vs. CIN, @ SEA

A risky streamer in last week's edition, Max Meyer sidestepped the second start in his two-start week of terror, avoiding a talented Phillies offense. He'll now slide into a much more favorable two-start week.

He did the best he could against a daunting Arizona offense (second in runs scored this season), with three runs, five hits, two walks, and eight strikeouts in six innings pitched.

His numbers still look fantastic, with a 2.63 ERA, 3.41 FIP, 1.13 WHIP, 27.6 percent strikeout rate, and 7.1 percent walk rate through four starts. The advanced numbers improved, with a 3.47 xERA, 15.1 SwStr percentage, 30.3 CSW percentage, and 57.1 percent ground ball rate ranking him among the better starters in baseball.

His first start isn't an ideal kick-off, as a Cincinnati Reds offense ranked 12th in scoring this season poses a slight threat to any pitcher. A Seattle offense ranked 16th in runs scored this season is also not an auto-start. However, Meyer has held his own against the Diamondbacks and Mets, so there's less to worry about this week.

Jose Soriano (45% Rostered), Los Angeles Angels

Scheduled Starts: vs. PIT, @ MIN

Jose Soriano is maintaining the sub-3.70 ERA streak he's kept up since his debut in 2023, but this year he's gone about it in the riskiest manner.

Of his four starts, Soriano has managed two incredible ones and two anxiety-inducing starts. In starts against the White Sox and Rays, he's allowed only one run, seven hits, and five walks across 14 2/3 IP combined. Against the Guardians and Rangers, he's let up eight runs, 15 hits, and five walks across 11 IP pitched.

The result: a 3.16 ERA, 3.65 FIP, 1.25 WHIP, 19.6 percent strikeout rate, 9.8 percent walk rate, 11 SwStr percentage, and 28.7 CSW percentage through 25 2/3 IP.

This week isn't all too intimidating, with starts against Pittsburgh and Minnesota offenses that rank 23rd and 25th, respectively, in runs scored this season. The K ratios should look better than they will all season, given he'll face off against a Pittsburgh lineup that has struck out more than all but one team.

Given his inconsistency, Soriano will not get the stamp of approval in most weeks. However, the situation this week warrants consideration.

Riskier Two-Start Streamer Picks

Gavin Williams (42% Rostered), Cleveland Guardians

Scheduled Starts: vs. NYY, vs. BOS

Gavin Williams has underwhelmed to start the season, with a 4.58 ERA, 4.71 FIP, 1.32 WHIP, 21.7 percent strikeout rate, and 12 percent walk rate through four starts.

He still possesses the makeup of the elite starting pitcher we thought he'd become after his incredible rookie year (96.8 mph fastball velocity, seven-inch extension), but hasn't put the pieces back together. It isn't a safe spot for Williams with starts against two top-10 scoring offenses.

Mitchell Parker (32% Rostered), Washington Nationals

Scheduled Starts: vs. BAL, vs. NYM

Mitchell Parker has been hot to start the year, with a 1.85 ERA, 3.61 FIP, 1.11 WHIP, 15.8 percent strikeout rate, and 8.9 percent walk rate through four starts. While the sub-2.00 ERA stands out, a 24.2 CSW percentage, 83.3 percent left-on-base rate, and 4.3 percent HR/FB ratio make it clear his 2025 performance doesn't have legs.

Two playoff-contending teams are not an easy matchup for a pitcher who is already clearly overperforming. Don't look for Mitchell Parker this week.

Jordan Hicks (18% Rostered), San Francisco Giants

Scheduled Starts: vs. MIL, vs. TEX

Jordan Hicks has had a rough go of it in 2025, with a 6.04 ERA, 4.24 FIP, 1.39 WHIP, 19.4 percent strikeout rate, and 10.2 percent walk rate through four starts. The gauntlet has gotten the best of him, with 12 runs allowed in his last two starts against the Yankees and Phillies.

He'll have to start his week against a Brewers offense ranked sixth in runs scored this season, meaning it still isn't safe to stream Hicks.

Brayan Bello (16% Rostered), Boston Red Sox

Scheduled Starts: vs. SEA, @ CLE

As he makes his season debut after missing the first few weeks because of a shoulder strain, Red Sox right-handed pitcher Brayan Bello steps into a two-start week.

Bello had a disappointing 2024 season, with a 4.49 ERA and 21.8 percent strikeout rate through 30 starts. There's not enough from the past season to reliably project Bello as a safe streaming pick, even against two subpar offenses.

Jose Quintana (14% Rostered), Milwaukee Brewers

Scheduled Starts: @ SF, @ STL

Jose Quintana's late-career renaissance continues in his first season with the Brewers, as the 36-year-old holds a 0.71 ERA, 3.82 FIP, 0.87 WHIP, 13 percent strikeout rate, and 6.5 percent walk rate through two starts. There's very little supporting this stellar start, with a five percent SwStr percentage and 100 percent left-on-base rate as the clearest warning signs.

We've spent four seasons waiting for regression toward the mean, but Quintana has defied the odds time and time again. However, you can't rely on someone with a 13 percent strikeout rate against two top-5 scoring offenses.

Osvaldo Bido (8% Rostered), Athletics

Scheduled Starts: vs. TEX, vs. CHW

Osvaldo Bido has done his part for an overperforming Athletics team, with a 2.61 ERA, 3.61 FIP, 1.45 WHIP, 15.6 percent strikeout rate, and 7.8 percent walk rate through four starts.

While a two-start week against two bottom-4 offenses is tantalizing, his 15.6 percent strikeout rate makes him a non-starter in the two-start streaming conversation.

Zack Littell (7% Rostered), Tampa Bay Rays

Scheduled Starts: @ ARZ, @ SD

He had a nice start against a cold (but still threatening) Red Sox offense, allowing just one run in five IP. However, he still maintains a 5.48 ERA, 5.55 FIP, and 20 percent strikeout rate, making him a no-go against two top-10 scoring offenses.

Dean Kremer (4% Rostered), Baltimore Orioles

Scheduled Starts: @ WAS, @ DET

A two-start darling for parts of 2024, Dean Kremer hasn't brought us the same level of value this season. Through four starts, he holds a 6.41 ERA, 5.78 FIP, 1.47 WHIP, and 14.4 percent strikeout rate. The Detroit Tigers rank ninth in scoring this season, meaning Kremer's out of two-start streaming contention this week.

Quinn Priester (3% Rostered), Milwaukee Brewers

Scheduled Starts: @ SF, @ STL

Sent packing by the Red Sox in an early-season trade, Quinn Priester has surprised many with his performance in his first two starts with Milwaukee. After starting against Detroit and Colorado (in Coors), Priester holds a 0.90 ERA, 4.23 FIP, 1.20 WHIP, 20 percent strikeout rate, and 12.5 percent walk rate.

A nine percent SwStr percentage, 23.7 CSW percentage, .231 BABIP, and 100 percent left-on-base rate don't bode well for the future. With two top-5 offenses on the slate, don't look for Priester this week.
