Logan Henderson Promoted To Major Leagues
6 days agoThe Milwaukee Brewers promoted pitching prospect Logan Henderson to the major league roster. In a corresponding move, the Brewers optioned right-handed pitcher Elvin Rodriguez to Triple-A Nashville. After allowing five runs in his season debut, Henderson has flipped the script at Triple-A and is being rewarded with a promotion. Over his last two outings, Henderson has tossed back-to-back five-inning shutouts. During this stretch, he has allowed just three hits and seven walks. He has struck out 16 batters. Due to the numerous injuries in the Milwaukee rotation, fantasy managers should expect the right-hander to see opportunities in the rotation. Currently, Quinn Priester and Jose Quintana are set to start the final two games of their series against the Tigers, which could set Henderson up for his big league debut over the weekend, against the Athletics.
