Quinn Priester Posts No-Decision In Team Debut
1 week agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Quinn Priester looked solid on the mound during his team debut against the Colorado Rockies on Thursday. The right-hander was recently traded to Milwaukee from the Boston Red Sox earlier this week. The Brewers are a bit banged up in the starting rotation, so they could use Priester right now. He looked good as he tossed five innings, allowing five hits, one earned run, and striking out four batters in the no-decision. Priester really didn't give up any damage outside of a leadoff solo home run in the opening frame. He's unlikely to stick in the rotation long term, but figures to make at least another start. If he does, Priester would be in line to face the Detroit Tigers early next week. He could offer some low-end streaming value in that start.
